Mrs. Terri Schrader (formerly Mrs. Ottomeyer) has been teaching Social Studies at De Soto High School since 1978. She was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and attended first through twelfth grade in the Mehlville School District.  She graduated in 1975 from Mehlville High School, receiving a Certificate of Recognition from the Missouri School-College Relations Commission as a Student of High Scholastic Promise, ranking in the top 15 percent of the Senior Class of 1975.  She was a member of the National Honor Society while in high school.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Southeast Missouri State University in 1978 with a grade point average of 3.89.  She majored in Social Studies and minored in Psychology.  Mrs. Schrader completed her Master of Education degree from Southwest Baptist University in 1997 with a 4.0 GPA. Mrs. Schrader currently has earned 41 post-graduate hours beyond her Master's degree.  From November 1985 to July 1988 she served in the United States Navy Reserve as an Intelligence Specialist.  In July 1988 she received a Direct Commission as an Intelligence Officer.  Since December 2010 she serves as an Information  Warfare Officer and is currently assigned to the Navy Reserve  STRATCOM INTEL-Phoenix unit where she drills one weekend per month and completes her active duty requirements during the summer months while school is not in session.
